Back in 2019, friends Sam Tarpinian and Sean Rooney officially partnered together to start High-End Confections, LLC. With years of experience working at a bakery and a background in design, Sam became fascinated with the idea of creating beautiful cannabis and hemp infused cake truffles. Sean, with his entrepreneurial mindset, quickly saw the opportunity for these infused cake truffles to be more than just a treat among friends and family. Shortly after, the journey to start an actual business in the fast-growing Hemp and Cannabis industry began, and High-End Confections was born.
After many iterations of testing and gathering feedback, we’re excited to share our delicious infused confections with the world. We are 100% invested in our hand-crafted baked edibles, offering only the highest quality of CBD infused confections for your enjoyment.
Sam Tarpinian
Co-Founder, Executive, Head Baker
Sam has a BS in Apparel Design & Merchandising from Central Michigan University. She previously was a textile product designer for the retail company Land’s End, before shifting her design focus to UX Design and High-End Confections (HEC) full-time.
Sean Rooney
Co-Founder, Executive
Sean has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State. He previously worked for Epic, a leading healthcare software provider before committing full-time to his passion in entrepreneurship. While he is not running business operations for High-End Confections (HEC), he is running his own IT consulting business.
